FAQ — ISO 45001
+Does ISO 45001 replace the French DUERP risk assessment?
No: the DUERP remains a French legal obligation. The standard provides the management system that uses and maintains it.
+What happened to OHSAS 18001?
The scheme was withdrawn after ISO 45001 was published in 2018; OHSAS-certified companies migrated to the ISO standard.
+Why bother if the company already holds MASE?
They overlap heavily; MASE is deeply rooted with French industrial clients, ISO 45001 brings international recognition. The choice mostly depends on your customers.
