Grande École du Numérique (GEN) label
Historical scheme: the GIP Grande École du Numérique was dissolved by an order of 8 January 2025 (liquidation closed in July 2025). No new labelling is possible; programmes labelled before the dissolution kept their label until expiry.

Concerned providers and schools training low-qualified or career-changing audiences for digital occupations (development, data, cybersecurity, digital mediation…).
What this scheme covers
- C.1Labelling of programmes (not the whole organisation), on teaching-quality, job-outcome and inclusion criteria — with, in the last campaigns, Qualiopi certification as a prerequisite.
- C.2A national network of around a thousand labelled programmes, claiming more than 45,000 people trained since 2015.
- C.3Its missions were taken over by the supervising ministries and France Travail after the dissolution.
The link with Qualiopi
The label recognised a digital programme's teaching and social project, with Qualiopi still required alongside (it was even a prerequisite of the last campaigns). Since the dissolution, only the standard schemes remain: Qualiopi, the France compétences registers and sector labels.
