Qualit'EnR qualifications (renewable energy) and the RGE mark

Firms and tradespeople installing renewable-energy equipment for households: solar thermal, photovoltaic, wood energy, heat pumps, geothermal, high-performance ventilation and electric-vehicle charging points.

What this scheme covers

• C.1A catalogue of technology-specific qualifications — Qualisol (solar thermal), QualiPV (photovoltaic), Qualibois (wood energy), QualiPAC (heat pumps), Certification Forage (geothermal drilling), Chauffage+, Ventilation+ and Recharge Elec+ — each with its own framework.
• C.2The RGE mark (Reconnu Garant de l'Environnement) carried by eligible qualifications: it is what makes the firm's work eligible for public housing subsidies.
• C.3Criteria derived from the amended order of 1 December 2015: a trained technical referent, recent project references, insurance explicitly covering the activity, and the firm's administrative and social-security compliance.
• C.4A four-year cycle punctuated by on-site audits: a first audit within the first twenty-four months, plus a second audit in year three for the so-called critical qualifications (Qualibois and QualiPAC).

The link with Qualiopi

Outside the scope of Qualiopi: Qualit'EnR qualifies installation firms, not training providers. A bridge exists nonetheless — every qualification requires a technical referent trained by a provider whose courses are approved, and that provider needs Qualiopi certification to have its courses funded from public or pooled funds.

The process, summarised

1. 1.Choose the qualifications matching the work actually sold (one per technology) rather than casting wide: each requested qualification has its own framework, training and audits.
2. 2.Have the technical referent complete the matching course with an approved training provider, concluded by a knowledge assessment.
3. 3.File the qualification application online: company identity and compliance, insurance (public liability and, where applicable, ten-year cover) explicitly covering the target activity, human and material resources, project references.
4. 4.Keep the cycle running: certificate reissued each year once documents are checked, an on-site audit within the first twenty-four months, an additional audit in year three for Qualibois and QualiPAC, then a renewal file at the end of the cycle.
